The construction and real estate industry has in recent years focused on reducing a building’s energy needs during the operational phase, but less attention has been given to the energy consumed during production.
Within the LÅGAN network, funded by the Swedish Energy Agency, an innovation competition will be conducted in 2024. The competition focuses on systems for monitoring and tracking energy usage, climate impact, and climate adaptation during construction production. The competition’s cornerstone is a requirements specification developed in collaboration with representatives from seven construction contractors, providing a comprehensive overview of the target group’s needs and expectations.
Learn more about why improved and more frequent monitoring is considered a crucial step towards developing more energy-efficient construction sites. Discover the outcomes and winning entries from the competition.
